Anonymous visitors

NEXT may allow you to create and contribute to stories without creating a traditional account.

For anonymous visitors, NEXT uses a randomly generated visitor identifier stored in a browser cookie. This identifier helps us associate activity with the same anonymous visitor.

The visitor identifier is not intended to directly identify you by name.

Content you submit

When you create a story or add a story branch, the content you submit is stored by NEXT so that the story can be displayed and continued.

Public story content may be visible to other users of NEXT depending on the features and visibility settings available on the service.

Do not include passwords, financial information, government identification, private contact information, or other sensitive personal information in story content.

Content moderation

Content submitted to NEXT may be processed by automated safety and moderation systems before publication.

These systems may analyze the text you submit to determine whether it falls within prohibited or restricted categories.
